Shafa Badran  area is around 45,000 Donum (1 Donum = 1000 m2), the number of inhabitants mounts to almost  
30,000 scattered over 15 district.

Kerbet Yajouz, is an important site within Yajouz district, it has historical ruins from the Roman, Byzantine,
Islamic era.
Yojouz and Um el'roog has unique and rare old trees like terebinth Atlantic which is older than 1000 years, and
Cinchona which is 80 years old. Both are reserved by authorities.
There are few public gardens in Shafa Badran , the largest is Prince Hamzah garden, they are sought by residents
and families for leisure and time off.
Shafa Badran has a total of 17 public and private schools; there are 2 universities, the Applied Science University
and the Arab Academy for Banking and Financial Sciences – a leading Jordanian and regional institute in financial
sciences. Moreover, 17 mosques and 1 Church are serving the religious community.
A public library and medical center are serving the increasing population, nearby hospitals are within 5 minutes
driving.
Public transportation network is getting bigger and bigger to cover all the districts within Shafa Badran, it connects
to the main transportation lines and important locations within Amman.
